Area Manager – Melbourne Eastern Region (Multi-Site Leadership)

This is an opportunity to step into a true multi-site leadership role, overseeing an established portfolio of clubs across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Built for a hands-on operator, this role is about leading from the front, setting the standard, developing your people, and owning the commercial outcomes of your region.

The Role

This is not an office role. You’ll be in the clubs, leading from the front, building capability in your team, and ensuring each location is operating at a high standard across sales, service, and retention.

You’ll act as the critical link between senior leadership and your clubs, translating strategy into action, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing future leaders within your network.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership of club performance across 4 locations

• Driving sales, revenue, and profit outcomes

• Leading, mentoring, and developing Club Managers and their teams

• Embedding clear KPIs, accountability, and performance standards

• Building a strong, consistent team culture across all sites

• Overseeing staff training, development, and progression

• Ensuring a high-quality, consistent member experience

• Identifying opportunities to improve performance and grow your region

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years experience running a high volume club or multiple sites (fitness, retail, hospitality or similar)

• Proven ability to drive sales and business performance

• A lead-by-example leader who is present, visible, and respected

• Strong people leadership with a passion for developing others

• Commercially minded with a clear understanding of KPIs and profit drivers

• Someone ready to step into, or already operating within, a multi-site leadership role

The Package

• $80,000 base + super

• Average $2,000/month bonus

• OTE circa $110,000

• Additional earning potential through % of regional revenue performance
